Mid-State Special Education Joint Agreement (MSSE) is an educational cooperative of 13 school districts in Central Illinois dedicated to the education of all students and committed to the provision of quality services and supports to students, families, and schools.  MSSE plans, advises, recommends, and provides special education and related services to diverse learners as well as collaborates with and supports educators and families in our member districts.

The public and non-public enrollment in MSSE member districts is over 13,000 students.  Of those students, 2,097 (16%) have Individualized Education Plans and receive services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
