Barb Daugherty, appointed Principal at the NEW Thrive MSSE Public Day School

Barb Daugherty, EdD; Ed.S; LCSW, has been appointed as the Principal at the NEW Thrive MSSE Public Day School, opening August 14, 2025. Thrive will serve students in the surrounding Bond/Fayette county schools within the Mid-State Cooperative. Barb comes into this position with a wealth of knowledge from her experience as a School Social Worker, SASS counselor and psychosocial, Program Coordinator, and with her experience working in and leading a private day school. Barb brings expertise in social/emotional school-wide structure, curriculum, system of supports, and so much more. At Thrive, we aim to support all students by providing them an individualized education experience, with the end goal of ensuring they THRIVE once they transition to their next phase in life.
