Welcome to the Mid-State Special Education Cooperative

Serving children, families, and schools with kindness, flexibility, and grace!

On behalf of the MSSE administrative team and our member districts, I would like to welcome you to our organization and website.  Since 1967, our school districts in rural central Illinois have worked jointly in order to provide a variety of special education programs and services to students in order to meet the educational needs of all learners.  Knowing that we are stronger together supporting all students, our 13-member districts continue to work cooperatively in order to access and share the benefits of experienced specialists and expertise, to maximize resources, and to provide quality educational services to all students.  MSSE has evolved over time; however, our commitment to excellence and our dedication to the children, families, and educators we serve remains stronger than ever.

We hope that you find our updated website helpful and easy to access whether you are a student, parent, caretaker, educator, or community member.  Please let us know if you have any ideas which might help us improve our services or our site by angie.armour@midstatespec.org

.

Sincerely,

Angela Armour, MSSE Director

Choose JOY.  Choose KINDNESS.  Choose GRACE.
